Linda is an Edmonton artist who captures the beauty of the Canadian landscape: fields, mountains, gardens and skies. Inspired by her photos, she creates original paintings on fabric. Then using her Sewing Machine from both the front and back of the paintings, she adds intricate detail and richly stitched surfaces. Look closely to appreciate the artful blending of smooth paint and textured thread. Her work has been described as impressionistic and full of movement and depth. Honing her skills as a textile artist for over 25 years, Linda has exhibited widely, including in South Korea, Italy and at the Vancouver Winter Olympics.
